Bicycle Health Check Day

We held a bicycle safety check day for our employee’s courtesy of On Your Bike - Taunton

As part of our mission, we aim to promote health and wellbeing within the workplace by encouraging our employees to cycle where possible. This also helps to reduce the companies carbon footprint.

Our employees benefitted from a free 40-point safety check on their bikes, and we received some great feedback from them. A huge thank you goes to On Your Bike - Taunton for attending.

Dan's Engineering celebrated National doughnut week 2021 and we were proud to support another local business Rebello Bakery by treating our employees to some delicious doughnuts! Each doughnut sold by them helped to raise funds for The Children's Trust brain injury charity.

Travel the World Challenge

Dan’s Engineering are committed to reducing the use of vehicles to offset their carbon footprint and also improve the health and well-being of their employees. This summer the workforce have been set a virtual challenge to see how far in the world they can travel as a team by commuting to work by bike, walking or running. So far they have travelled an incredible 278.72 miles and have just reached Belgium!

Comic Relief Charity Event 2021

The Dan's Engineering team raised some smiles with a charity bake sale and sweepstake which raised an amazing £135 for Comic Relief! Congratulations went to Jodie who won the sweepstake and hamper of goodies. The event was very successful and thanks went to all our Employees who kindly supported the event and to AIP Welding and Electro South West for their generous donations.
